Murrumbidgee to Googong – M2G pipeline

Actew/ John Holland/ ABI Group JV Project. The Murrumbidgee to Googong (M2G) Water Transfer was designed to deliver improved security to the water supply for the ACT and surrounding regions. It involved pumping water from the Murrumbidgee River within the ACT and transferring it via a pipeline to Burra Creek in NSW. Redline successfully installed, tested and delivered 13,000 + meters of 1000mm ductile iron concrete lined pipeline (DICL) on budget and ahead of schedule – incident and leak free. Redline was further formally presented an award for its high level of remedial pipeline restoration of the right of way and provision of respective environmental controls. This represented the first ever 1000mm DICL pipeline installed in Australia .
